Hello!

At 19, I arrived in Sydney with 1 suitcase, a map of Sydney and a dictionary. After struggling with English and adapting to the local culture, I triumphed with a Bachelor of Design degree from UNSW COFA (now Art and Design).

I started as a junior designer at a mini magazine design studio but soon realised that I need digital design skills to survive as a designer so went back to Tokyo to train as web designer at one of the biggest interactive design companies - TYO Interactive Design. After surviving 3 years of the high pressure Japanese work ethic, I came back to Sydney and worked at various advertising agencies, design studios and start ups. While I was feeling a little hollow with a lot of the work I did, an opportunity presented itself to take a role as Lead Designer for data visualisation specialist Small Multiples, where I enjoyed doing UI/UX design as well as illustration.

Design can give your ideas wings to fly! It is my hope that I can provide design with warmth which will express your personal stories.

19歳の時、憧れの大学留学で渡豪。NSW州立大学COFA（現Art&Design）にてデザイン学士号を取得した後、現地のデザイン業界の厳しさにもまれながらもミニマガジンなどをデザインする小さなデザイン会社に就職。その後、ウェブデザインの知識がないとデザイナーとして生き残れないと思い、一旦日本に帰国。ウェブ制作会社TYO Interactive designにて３年間デジタルデザインの修行をしました。再びシドニーに戻り、大手広告代理店やデザイン会社で勤務しましたがやりがいを感じることが出来ず悩んでいたとろ、データビジュアリゼーションを専門とするウェブ制作会社Small Multiplesから声がかかり、グラフィックやUI/UXデザインだけでなくイラストなど多岐にわたるデザインの担当をさせていただきました。

デザインはアイデアに翼を与え、羽ばたかせる事ができる。現在は暖かくパーソナルなデザインをしたいという思いから個人のクライアントをベースに活動しています。
